Our store's owner, Shirley Kinneman, realized a dream that she had for many years when she opened Designer's Choice in 1995.

"When I opened my retail gift shop in May at 155 East Davis Street in the heart of historic Culpeper, Virginia, there was not much in the way of items to be sold. In fact, my sister urged me not to open but open I did. Over the years I found many unique and decorative items to fill my shop to overflowing. I have had great fun shopping for the store and learning about new things to add to the inventory."
